 I am seeking to recruit a Digital Technology Manager to oversee all Information and Digital Technology functions in my clients state-of-the-art manufacturing facility located in west Dublin. The role encompasses the direction of strategic technology planning, organizational structure, operations and governance of the information and digital technology systems supporting the local subsidiary’s business and controls. The role holder will lead a local team of nine who are responsible for the company’s technology operations, business support systems and the implementation of new systems and policies to ensure that all systems and people function effectively and in accordance with company-wide policies, strategies and budgets. In this role you will be expected to take charge of the implementation of a restructure and widening of the IT function within the company to encompass all aspects of the digital workplace including - ICT Infrastructure, Communications, Security, Business and Manufacturing Applications Support, Data Analysis / Business Intelligence, and IT Governance (systems security, compliance & validation).


• At least 5 years experience in a similar high performing IT Management role. • Experience in IT strategy formulation in accordance with organisation goals. • Strong technical background in hardware, software, data warehousing, infrastructure, and communications. • Experience in requirements analysis, solution design and specification. • Skilled in system and process integration, technology evaluation, selection, delivery and implementation of robust, cost effective IT systems. • Familiarity with ITIL or similar IT service management process framework. • Experience in IT financial management including budgeting, forecasting, and justifying expenditures. • Excellent organisational and leadership skills. • Excellent communicator at both technical and non-technical levels. • Ideally a certification in Project Management e.g. PMP, CSM (Scrum), PRINCE2 or equivalent.
